Question   The importer of a brand of cars has developed a strategic blueprint for his network of dealers. Into it some mergers between dealers have been taken up. This does not always go without a hitch, which is not surprising since not seldom these dealers in neighbouring areas are each others greatest competitors. The objective is to see whether specific forms of enduring and profitable forms of cooperation are possible, and, if so, to realize them.
